Back to Garden Work
How’s everyone and how was your first days of August? I hope you are having a wonderful one! After almost two weeks of escapades, I am finally back to reality. Trip is over and now I have to take care of so many things and chores at home. It also means that I need to go back to garden work as well. My garden looks terrible at the moment. Some plants are dying as we were away from vacation. Some are still surviving and thanks goodness for that.

My friends invited me yesterday for a trip today. I wish to go with them but sad to say, I have to decline because I already left too many things undone at home and in our garden, while I was away for some days and even weeks on a many trips. I felt sad seeing the plants and flowers dying in our garden.
This morning, I was removing some weeds and cutting dried plants. I also cut dried lavender flowers. I want to make small lavender pillows which will serve as aroma therapy inside our home. I am still not done with the garden work because I still need to do some cleaning in the house.
In the coming days, I need to slowly clean and arrange our patio for the incoming party. It will be the celebration of my big day. I hope I can finish everything before it comes. I just don’t want stress doing it last minute.
Our garden don’t look good this year compared to last year. I did not have much time taking care of it because I am always on the road. I am glad that there are still some flowers you can see in there. You cannot simply combined gardening and traveling but I am glad that I was able to visit many countries this year.
I guess, that is all for now. I have to slowly sign-off. It is almost midnight and I have to go to bed now. Take care everyone!
